About
I address two surfaces, the physical and the projected, the tactile and the philosophical, or the never changing and the ever changing. Projected meaning remains fragile, constantly facing breakdown for any reason, from a tragedy to a particularly insightful moment. Shape is a constant concern. Shape holds no physical dichotomy. It is a form defined by enviroment. I base gestures on the irony of shape. With shape I can objectify action and emotion. With shape I can balance devotion with apathy.
